Ode to the Morning of the Last Day of June
Lo, early the day came with bright shafts of light
Rising over the mountain, first dimly, then bright.
Whilst early to the wire the trilling bluebirds did fly
Yon evening’s moon did wink a weary goodbye.
Hark! Overland the brave horsemen did ramble…
Stirring sleepy mamas and wee calvies to gambol.
‘Fore long, the June morning was no longer new,
E’en tho’ flowers, they bloomed, bonny and blue.

As always…beautiful pictures! Can I come over and enjoy too? I love the misty rolling hills, the cowboys and the cows
Beautiful!!!
That second photo is incredible!
This made my day, thanks.
I’m so impressed! And the reason there is no comment from me on your summer daze post is because I left it up for Wil to read and that hasn’t happened yet!
Very beautiful and peaceful!
Very nice!
